Braeburn Valley West has contracted “Armed Security on Bikes” as our new neighborhood patrol, effective March 1, 2023. The new contract will expand our coverage and allow more focused attention to neighborhood issues. (Due to the size of our neighborhood, patrolling officers will be in vehicles.)
Mark your calendars for an official “Meet & Greet” with your new patrol at the next HOA meeting, March 9th, 7pm at the Clubhouse.

Help Us Keep You ‘In The Know’ With a Customized Solid Waste Management Collection Reminder
Introducing the Solid Waste Management new mobile app HTX Collects and website tool. It offers a variety of collection reminder options and valuable information on how to properly dispose of waste. You can even challenge your knowledge in our “Chase the Waste” game to see if you’ve got what it takes to be a certified Recycling Ranger. Visit our website at HoustonRecycles.org for more information. The HTX Collects app can be found and downloaded in both the iOS App and Google Play stores by searching for “Houston Trash and Recycling”. Look for the badge icon like the logo above. Once downloaded simply enter your street number and street name to find your address and get your personalized collection schedule.
All Houston Solid Waste Management customers are encouraged to use the following collection reminder tools:
- Phone Call Reminders: Select the time you would like to receive a reminder call the day before your collection day.
- Email Reminders: Select the day and time you would like to receive your collection reminder.
- Calendar Downloads: Download your service calendars to Google, iCal, or Outlook, or save and/or print a PDF.
- App Reminders: set up customized push notifications. (Note: the HTX Collects app is available in English, Spanish, French, Vietnamese, Korean and Simplified Chinese.)
