How to dispose of Lithium-ion Batteries

Fires involving various lithium battery-powered products is on the rise.
These fires are FAST - you may only have seconds to escape.
DO NOT PLACE LITHIUM BATTERIES IN THE REGULAR TRASH.
Not only is it a fire and explosion hazard, it's also illegal.
Where to Recycle your Batteries in Houston.
Lithium-ion Battery Safety:
* Find a battery recycling center (Call2Recycle)
* Store batteries away from extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, and anything flammable.
* Only use charging equipment that comes with the product.
* Never discard batteries, chargers or battery-powered devices in regular trash bins.
