Join us this Juneteenth to unveil the Riceville Memorial with the Riceville Mount Olive Baptist Church and many other community partners. The Riceville Community was established in the 1850’s by enslaved and formally enslaved and the Riceville Cemetery has been preserved ever since with many members buried there. This is hallowed ground that speaks stories of the distant past on up to the present.

 

There will be a brief ceremony and then end with light refreshments.
