COMBATING CRIME WITH COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT

When it comes to crime prevention and safety risks in Braeburn Valley West, members in our community are the eyes and ears for the Safety Committee and Armed Security on Bikes.

With swift and accurate reporting, we’re better able to address the issue and try to find a solution. Depending on the situation, reporting the incident to both Armed Security on Bikes and HPD enables the Safety Committee to follow up and request assistance from local authorities.

If you have a concern or experience a burglary, please contact:

HPD - 311 or HPD's non-emergency line (832-884-3131).
Armed Security on Bikes (832-884-8780).
Include the following details:
- time and date the incident occurred,
- address & items stolen,
- a description of the vehicle,
- description individuals, and
- a license plate number, make and model.

For your convenience, we've created an online form where residents can report incidents and safety concerns and/or hazards seen in the community.

Please, DO NOT leave items in your vehicles that encourage thieves to steal and or damage your property. We have reports that the thieves often return to the scene to steal more items.
