ReadyHarris.org Alert - Burn Ban in Effect

While BVWCA is not directly affected by the Harris County Burn Ban implemented today (9.17.26) residents are encouraged to review and follow the fire hazard, safety tips presented to ensure our own community remains safe and fire-free.
Included in the article are reminders to:
- Not discard cigarette butts into grassy areas, nor out a car window.
- Do not grill over dry grass and use starter fluid specifically designed for grills.
- Do not leave fires unattended.
- Only burn debris inside approved enclosures such as fire pits.
- When cooking outside, remain alert for flying embers and do not place your grill close to combustibles.
Safety and fire hazards can be reported to Security at 832.884.8780.
If you see an unattended fire, call 911 immediately.
